The RX-802 AS is especially designed for work on RoHS (Reduction of Hazardous Substances) equipment which uses lead-free solder.
Lead-free solder alloys work at higher melting temperatures to Sn-Pb solder and require close temperature control at the tip to avoid thermal damage to circuit boards, components etc.
This Japanese-made station has been designed from scratch for lead-free soldering with a stable tip temperature during use.


It will go from cold to 350°C in six seconds! Feature- 7 segment LED temperature display, a 72W soldering iron, anti-static construction (ESD safe), anti-oxidation tips, calibration function, keypad lock, sleep function to estend tip life and a temperature range of room temperature to 450°C.
