Built-in PC:
The Touch 1 features an integrated Pentium-class PC complete with floppy and hard disk drives and ports for keyboard, monitor, and auxiliary digital I/O. Optional Ethernet ports are available. Two PCI slots are available for system expansion.

Graphical Touch Screen Display:
The Touch 1 integrates a touch-screen display with easy-to-use, menu-driven software. Simple-to-follow menus guide the user through set-up functions. From resistance and voltage settings to point labeling and file naming, it's all at your finger tips! Speed: With its built-in PC and Cirris' high-speed hipot algorithm, the Touch 1 is one of the fastest cable/harness testers available. It is ideal for integrating into high-speed automated assembly lines.

Complete Testing:
Check for opens, shorts, miswires, high resistance connections (due to cold solder joints, mis-crimping, etc.), and insulation problems such as leakage, dielectric failures, etc. Also test resistors, diodes, capacitors, switches, twisted pairs, and other custom components.

4-Wire Kelvin Test:
When used in the 4-wire mode the Touch 1 nulls out fixture resistance and performs resistance measurements down to .001 ohm with up to 1A of current.

By-Wire Resistance and Which End Error Detection:
Set resistance to check for correct wire gauge, length, etc. The Touch 1 simplifies rework by identifying at which connector an open or short occurred.

Custom Scripting (optional):
Powerful script language allows you to customize testing for virtually any application. Custom components can be embedded to make testing complex assemblies simple.

Networking (optional):
An ethernet card can be added allowing you to network multiple Touch 1s together.

SPC Data Collection (optional):
The Touch 1 automatically captures summary test results (number of good and bad). With the SPC Link or SPC Made Easy options you can also capture actual measured values, specific error details, operator throughput figures, and more.

Up to 1500VDC - 1000VAC:
The Touch 1 can be purchased with up to 1000VDC or 1500VDC. AC testing can be added as an option (up to 707VAC or 1000VAC). Insulation resistance can be tested up to 1000Mohm DWV current settings range from .1mA to 1.5mA.

Expandable to 1024 Points:
The Touch 1 can expand to 1024 test points with add-on boxes in 128-point increments.

Displays Actual Insulation Resistance Reading for Hipot Failures:
In the event of hipot failures, the Touch 1 displays the actual measured valued (in Megohms) of insulation resistance failures.
