Macromelt Moulding
Macromelt - Low Pressure Adhesives Injection Molding
is a process innovation
positioned between casting and injection
molding technologies.
The advantages at a glance:
- Low pressure: No damage to electronic components.
- Adhesives: The adhesive makes sealing possible.
- Injection molding: The process similar to injection molding is an assurance of high production reliability.
This technology is based on high performance
adhesive materials (reformulated hot melt).
These adhesive materials also offer great
strain relief in molded grommets and
connectors.
Macromelt Moulding is also referre to as
Hot Melt Moulding, Low Pressure Moulding or
Electro Moulding, may be the solution to
production issues associated wit traditional
high pressure injection molding.
It often replaces time consuming and
hazardous epoxy potting operations.
